Tried the crayola tie in a three-piece get-up.

I'm no expert but this seems like the perfect arena for a wool or cashmere square. The white cotton almost feels too conservative business dress to me.

yep, a little. Puffed silk's more natural look.

Thanks fellas! I figured it could be better - felt like I just didn't have the right square in my closet.

@in stitches, looks great, but spoiler some of your pics, NOOB!

;) Good to see you back! Best use of a purple tie I've seen yet; I don't really like purple 98% of the time.

Thanks! :fistbump: Glad this one struck a chord with you. Definitely a lot of inspiration in this thread lately.

Never thought about a purple neat in a SC fit. Also love the trousers and shoes, any details you could spare?

Glad to see you back posting pictures @in stitches

@jcmeyer Like the fit a lot but I am not used to see you in such dark color. You don't usually post fits with dark solid colors, right?

Thanks, Chu! Most of my suits are darker, except one light grey linen that I hardly ever wear. This one in particular is on the dark side of charcoal; it was my wedding suit and tends to be my interview, funeral, formal event choice.

In different light you can see it's not quite to black but it's not far off!

Where is that jacket from? it's incredible
Cheers, @Procrastination - it´s from the MTM tailor shop i work for on saturdays - an unlined, semi-canvassed coat, cut from an Ariston flannel.
