first outing with this Pal Zileri suit I received as a gift recently! I know it’s probably hard to say from photos alone (doesn’t help the wind was fiercely blowing in the last two) but are there any glaring fit issues I should try to address? My alterations tailor does nice work but isn’t much for suggesting classic suit proportions.

I'd say maybe let out the pants a bit for a touch of break.
Could be the angle, but that jacket looks insanely long, and, I know it's the intent, but those trousers are INSANELY wide. Pant-suity when factoring in the shoes. I don't think either flatters your frame, but the trousers far more so.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
