I try to wear this suit every winter in a festive way. I like this years combo. I think a solid red tie could have also worked, but I’m digging the fair isle, pinstripe, and tartan trio.

Stunning cloth on the jacket.
That's distinguished - in a good way. Love the color of the suit. The weather in NYC has been sunny but cold, and, as it was the end of the week, I was planning to simply live my life as an accidental boulevardier, but, due to a mid-morning text message from an acquaintance from out of town, I became boulevardier and tour guide, giving my out-of-town visitor his first exposure to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, after a casual lunch.
As it was, I was planning on dressing for the day (and the evening - dinner out), so I didn't vary my intended ensemble for tour guide duties, and was able to photograph it before making haste to meet my guest uptown.
My duties as tour guide were much appreciated by my visitor, and, now I finally can post photos.
As always, an attempt to cycle through the wardrobe, wearing things that haven't seen usage in a while. Today's scarf, a gift from a friend in the UK, makes it debut.

what's the fabric?
Loose the scarf.
If I came across that New and Lingwood dinner jacket, I'd buy it immediately. I love it.
I agree with this guy, 3 button suits are great, windowpanes are great@Andy57 The cut of the suit is amazing: is it bespoke?
Cool doggieToday it occurred to me that I do not truly have a festive tie. Might have been good for this ensemble heavy in texture but light in pop. Dark brown suede derbies and belt which are not really visible. View attachment 2097225 View attachment 2097227 View attachment 2097229
