Cross post from the MTM thread:

Because its the last of the "summery" days here, I thought I'd post some jackets that are going into hibernation soon.

This is a slubby silk an linen jacket that is fairly recent. I am wearing it with a pair of douchebag Gucci loafers that my wife bought me as a present. Full disclosure: I love them and want a pair in black too. Whatever that says about me I'm fine with. Shout out to @Todd Shelton for the jeans.

Back to the jacket. This garment is interesting because of the fabric, which has a high silk content. That means that it has very little give/ stretch to it, if any at all. Accommodations must be made and if I had used the same measurements and fit that I use as my "Pattern", it would not have fit me. I mean, it would have fit me, but this is StyFo, so obviously it would have been a disaster. You know what I'm saying...

Anyway, pictures.

Clothes, in this case the SC, should speak for itself.
I feel the lapel is too wide for your torso and creates a visual imbalance.

This is great, the fabric is superb. Can you share details of who the fabric is by?

My latest bespoke suit. Commissioned with the big day in mind, here on the first regular outing. Made by Dawid Kukliński.

Classic dark navy suit made from this fabric from Dugdale Bros & Co. Single breasted with notch lapels, flap pockets and double vents. It's a bit more tailored than the last one (which was a bit challenging due to the fact that lockdown and all this 2020 bullshit didn't do any good to my waist circumference ;)) and with slightly different shoulders (nod towards pagoda shoulders). I am happy with the final result. I like how it fits, the fabric turned out to be very breathable and stood the time of the whole hot August night of dancing really well (and it's pretty wrinkle resistant too). I think I will shorten the sleeves slightly in the future and maybe ask for some corrections of the back (but firstly I need to get back in shape).
