Yellow tie to kick off the week.

Socks (or, can’t really tell, lack of socks?) are distracting and don’t cohere with conservative business dress styling of everything else in the fit.

Also breaks up the long slim leg line in an unflattering manner.

Just my 2c etc, generally a good bankerish “power suit” type fit.

EDIT to add buckle your shoes too. You’re doing some kind of bizarre inverted sartorial mullet where it’s business up top pitti on the bottom.

Appreciate the 2 cents. Definitely wearing socks in the Norwegian winter, but I agree cream/light beige socks might be a little distracting from the formality of the rest of the outfit.

Haha, I´ll make sure to buckle them all the way next time. It´s what you get for putting on shoes just for the pic.

Out on a very cold (for here) and windy day.

Brooks Brothers jacket and sweater vest, L L Bean OCBD shirt, Roosterknit tie, generic pocket square, Polo Ralph Lauren trousers, and Allen-Edmonds shoes.

A "Piece-Of-A -(Windblown)-Person" (with a Spicy Chicken Katsu Sandwich) picture.
