@Alan Bee what color is that basket weave cloth? It looks purple-ish on my monitor! Very nice!
BTW, what is your choice of watch(es) on a daily basis? I must assume that your watch collection matches your bespoke clothing collection, no?
Hi @ShawnBC
The jacket is a deep chocolate brown with black and white weaves woven into it. Very rich and deep brown.
I won’t go so far to call myself a collector. I basically threw out my entire RTW wardrobe after putting on some muscle mass and drew up a wardrobe plan on a spreadsheet to be executed in 3 phases. I just completed phase 2.
Phase 1 and 2 were mostly solids (both suits and jackets) and solids with texture, evening wear (tux, dinner jackets), shirts, odd trousers (all accounting for both seasons) and the novelty of a morning dress (coat, vest, trousers). Phase 3 will focus on (subtly) patterned suits and jackets which I’m still learning more about before I embark.
BTW, nothing off the rack works for me so Bespoke is not so much a luxury as it is a necessity.
I’m a big evangelist for this approach because every item in your wardrobe is intentional and sufficiently used. It leaves No room for the odd impulse purchase.
I’m not a watch collector either. I have only two watches. A sport watch (Jaeger Le Coultre Master Geographic) and a dress watch (Girard Perregoux flat rose gold watch). I’ve had both over 10 years and intend to pass them on to my only children, my two sons.
