Looks like a favourite old Drakes tie I have, is it the very same?

I was wondering that myself. I have the tie, but I'm not sure if it's Drake's. Might be.

The tie is Bigi from our very own forum favorite, No Man Walks Alone. I almost sold it a year ago, but am now glad I held onto it. Thanks for the kind words.

Love the car and shoes

Thank you!

Someone (was it you Ellesar?) posted pics of a Hidra blue several months ago. I hadn't heard of the watch but it looked nice. It may just be the light but the blue colour seems much more vibrant in these pics than those on the website.

It might have been me. The Huldra is probably my favorite watch right now -- tied with the Seiko SARB017 though. I was gushing with joy when I finally got the Huldra blue. This was back in the late summer of 2016.
The light really affects the vibrancy of the Huldra dial (at least for the blue variant, can't speak for the others). Without much light, it can look muted, but in a brilliant light the face looks equally brilliant. Here are a few other pics for comparison:
This one was taken at long exposure so it should give you a good idea of the color of the dial in "muted" light. BUT the light I was using had a green tinge so you can see that the blue here looks more teal, really.

And then this was the same day as the photo I'd uploaded above, and you can see how the sunlight changes the colour completely:
