What's the fuss over Mazzarelli recently? Nice fabrics but no handwork or anything.

How do you find the fit of the jacket? It looks long enough on you, but the website says "shorter jacket" on the Lazio description. That's always a concern for me, being 6'5"!

I really don't trust their descriptions or measures, I just go to the store and try them out. The descriptions are totally useless (IIRC about Lazio they also say something like "a relaxed fit" while is probably the tightest), and the pictures too (either the model is wearing the wrong size or he has a very weird body shape compared to the average man). Also, the same cut in the same size might end up having very different fits depending on the fabric.

Anyway, regarding your question, I prefer slightly shorter jackets, and this Lazio is the longest of the 4 SuitSupply suits I have (Sevilla is definitely shorter, Sienna is slightly shorter and La Spalla is pretty much the same). I'm 180cm ( it should be something like 5'11") though. If you don't have a store close to you, you could try to use their size advisor and compare the dimensions with the suits you have.

No fuss, but I needed some everyday blue shirts and Yoox had them on sale last year for like $75 each. So I gave them a try.

For that price they're a no brainer. The cut is very nice and they have nice collars it is true!

Agreed, they have become workhorse shirts for me. And the collars are their best feature!

Thanks for that, no there's no store in Ireland so I would be buying off the web - something I've never done with suits. I do like to try them on. Although once they are reasonably OK I can get it tailored.

I'll do some measuring and see what's what!

In nearly six months of posting pics, you have never acknowledged a single compliment, nor given a shred of advice to me. I really don't give a ****, as others have been really helpful in giving constructive criticism. But I wonder who really comes here for the hand jobs.

As it happens, I was in the SuitSupply store on Madison Ave. in NYC with a friend who is 6'5", 220 lbs. and lanky, and there were no jackets in their long fits (I think that my friend is a 42L, American) that suited him. The jackets were often long enough to cover his butt, but they all had serious issues with gaping at the neck, or otherwise did not suit him at all. (As it is, he has cause to be in China with some regularity, and he has his suits and jackets made at WW Chan in Shanghai - not a solution for your problem, I would assume, as you're in Dublin, from your profile.)
