I have said something similar in the past. I don't subscribe to the categorical orthodoxy re gray and/or POW odd jackets. The fact that I remember you saying POW odd jackets aren't that bad (or maybe it wasn't you)Does something give you the impression that it isn't?But it's also grey and suitish, so I think I made a dumb question indeed

More like what were we wearing yesterday:
For being forced into a combination, it's a very nice one. It took me a lot longer than I'd like to admit to realise that I need to remove my jacket before playing with or feeding my daughter. Entirely too many trips to the cleaners.Forced back in to flannel today. Almost all my winter suits and coats are either at the tailors, cleaners or my daughter has slobbered on them and they'll be going to the cleaners!Suit: Herringbone Sydney Shirt: Kamakura Tie: Henry Carter 9cm 7 fold repp Shoes: Carmina PS: Random
Clag, I like the colours and overall combination. The collar seems to be a bit big though, based on the overlap at the knot. Could just be me though.
That's a very strong start.
I really like this, Pingson. Very nicely combined, and I like the pocket square's colour, close, but not too matchy or clashing. Do you have a photo of the entire square? I'd like to see the rest of it, not just the puff.Back to work after three weeks of vacation wearing almost exclusively T-shirts and shorts.Details:
Really liking the seersucker, Crusty. It will be hot (though happily not humid) today in NYC, and I find myself needing to be in a suit (albeit seersucker), for the annual Garden Party at the Frick Collection, a fund raiser which people attend to see and to be seen, and, with luck, photographed by Bill Cunningham of the New York Times. (However I am dressed, there is no danger that I will make the Style section of the Sunday NY Times - only recognized members of society, or patrons of the Frick much higher on the food chain than myself show up there.) But, as a dress extra in this evening's comedy, I guess I'll pass. Suit & tie - BB Shirt -Tyrwhitt Cufflinks - New & Lingwood Shoes - C & J Hat - Christy's, via Thomas Farthing, London
