I like this ^ in general except for two things. First, the PS needs more pop. Second, the slacks are cut like jodhpurs -- skinny at the shins and fat through the thighs. That's never a good look.

Think of it this way: If Gwyneth can't pull it off, then neither can you.

Tough to see colors, but the pants seem inconsistently casual for the top half (also tight), and that tie looks to wide for you.

Phat, I think you have a great understanding of colors and textures.
So classic! I especially like Thursday. BTW, what is your usual width of pants at hem?

Here's my try for today.
The suit is from a forum member, scohrdarkshadow and the tie is from davesmith.
Thank you all for great stuffs.
I need to shorten sleeves more. I just uncuffed shirt sleeves.

The aftermath of Irene has brought mild temperatures and low humidity to NYC - it's a pleasure to get dressed these days.

Suit - Paul Stuart
Shirt - Lewin
Tie - Paul Stuart
Braces - Trafalgar
Cufflinks - T & A
Shoes - Heschung, via Barney's NYC

Could quite possibly be the best Crusty_Fit(some may want the sleeve .5inch shorter). Bravo. Some people have asked for the goatee to come back; I wonder what a full, but closely trimmed beard would do for you this Fall.

I believe that this is one of your finest picture posts. An example of outstanding tailoring. Very sharp.

Thank you, Clarinet. As it is, I think that I might have the waist taken in on yesterday's jacket a bit, but I'm glad to have added something different to the rotation.

Thank you, Chico. As for a closely cropped full beard, I've tried to imagine what I'd look like with it, but between the amount of effort it would take to keep such facial topiary in good trim, and the outlay in hair dye (my beard is quite grey, naturally, at this point), I think that I will be lazy, and merely shave every morning.

First time wearing a tie, this is a "test-drive" for when I'll actually need to.
Picture quality is meh, sadly my camera is with my sister in Brittany.
The jacket is striped navy/blue; close up with actual (if a bit too dark) colors in the spoiler, and the shirt is striped white/light blue.
