It's busy here, but it could easily be toned down. I think PoW with windowpanes are the hardiest to work with. I think blue/white or pink/white ones can work well.

A cool change whipped through Melbourne today and this suit proved just right for the weather.

my first suitsupply suit
i did not suppress the waist (think i will leave it alone) or slim the sleeves as i normally would
just hem pants, take in pants waist, and shorten sleeves so the suit is wearable

my ps is caught on the lapel and i need longer collar points to tuck under the lapels

Yes, leave the waist as is. There is a nice shape to the mid body of this coat. When I see your picture post, I am reminded of all the tasteful and smart-looking coats that Claghorn wears every day. And yours has that look.

Your shoulders look nice and neat. Yes, shorten the sleeves a bit?. Is this the Napoli? I find that the sleeves on the Napoli are much roomier than their other models. I've gotten used to it; it has not been issue for me. Actually, there is good freedom for arm movement.

I know that SS coats run short, but--again, maybe--is this coat length too short? I'd have to see a picture from the back side to make a better judgment about this. When I purchased my first SS coat, I was in shock. I had never had a coat so short. But, in a reverse mirror at the tailor shop, I could see that the coat was covering, adequately, my gluteus maximus.

PoW shirts are tough, but I do like them with solid ties and sharp suits.

I have a few blue ones, and a lavender/purple one.

The lavender I usually wear under a gray sweater, the blue sometimes casually or with a solid navy, or navy pindot tie.
