Bateman would never wear a cardigan!

Nice tweed, but I'd prefer it an inch longer.

Great tie, and nice combining, but sorry the nappy pin doesn't work for me.

Pants look much, much better.

These look like they deserve the DSLR treatment.

It's almost a prerequisite for having a beard. If you don't do it, you'll be hunted down and have the thing forcibly shaved off your face. Terrifying prospect, I know. And thanks! The coat's a Bamford 'great coat'. I replaced the leather covered buttons with normal ones though.

Welcome. Other than the trouser-length, that first fit was excellent. Today's is good too, though the shoulder on the suit is perhaps a little strong for my taste. Either way, as others have noted, you're doing a damn sight better than I was at that age...

Thanks, I've still got much to learn in terms of more complex outfits, but for clean, classic looks, I think I'm alright. I use a Nikon D40 with some of my lighting equipment from modelling shoots to bring out natural colour, then throw a custom "sartorialist" filter on it in photoshop to change the curves/saturation. Nothing too extreme.

The shoulder on the first fit is much the same as the second, I simply moved the camera and perspective saw fit to change the slope and harshness. I actually prefer the stronger shoulder as opposed to a more natural, softer shoulder, but opinion is by definition subjective.
