I would have gone dark. I think the light, almost matching, tie is lost on the shirt. I take it that jacket is BBBF? I like that, alot.

I feel the same way sometimes, however, I always get compliments from the ladies both young and old so I wear mine with confidence.

Here's what I wore to work today, gentlemen, and I would value your opinions on the PS.
Light saturation aside, the suit is blue, the shirt is pink, the tie is purple, and the PS harmonizes with the tie.

Before leaving the house I tried other PS options to see if I could improve upon my first choice, such by as harmonizing with the shirt instead of the tie.

Although it doesn't look like it in the image above, the main body of the PS is almost exactly the same shade of pink as the shirt.

Then I tried harmonizing the PS with the suit by choosing a blue one with a little lavender in it to echo the tie:

And finally, I stuffed in a green PS just because I like it with the suit, though not necessarily with the tie.

If you'd be so kind, please rank the squares from most to least preferred, and feel free to state other options if you don't see any that you like.

Most to least: Green, Purple, Pink, Blue. I really like the green, appreciate the subtlety of purple, not a fan at all of pink and blue.

Thanks. It's all (slubby) silk. I ditched the jacket as soon as I got to work and didn't put it on again...it's 90 with high humidity here.
