Dinkelacker shoes are nice. Never had a pair, but Rio / Buda full-brogue looked tough and built like a tank.

One of our former Vass favorites is with them now, correct? Looks like a few email addresses made the transition too. Some of the newer models look nice.

Nobody, but I did have some correspondence with vass regarding a trunk show which ended up being cancelled.

I've ordered from Vass both via email and in-store. Was the email from Rezso lol?

Very likely. I also received the email this morning, and I bought a few things directly from Vass when Rezso was around.

If the email included a 15% discount or thereabouts, I probably would have bought a pair. I haven't heard of this brand before, but the construction looks very good. Bet some of these would look great w/ a pair of moleskin trousers.

geez........just saw these "boats"........for casual /jean wear they are just about perfect....very hip cool and stylish

the heft and scale remind me a bit of my Archies by grenson,,...which I love.

I do understand that to some , they may be hideous, clunky and Monstrous. But as some1 who can appreciate a sleek handsome Lobb or EB, Carmina etc etc, this look appeals to me as well.

Im a car guy, I love older sleek Ferraris, Maseratis, Porsches etc etc.....but I also dig old land Rovers, old jeeps etc.

It's true that the good old Buda last might seem heavy.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
