Should a guy still shave his chest/back hair? Or is the Robin Williams look coming back?

I put my electric on #2 and do a light trim just to thin it all out. Some ladies like the chest hair, and those that don't, well I'm really just not prepared to wax or shave.

I keep the ol' twig & berries very maintained and shave my face just about everyday but refuse to touch my chest hair. I'm nowhere near tom selleck status but I can get my "rugged man" on with a day or two of stubble and unbuttoning the 3rd button on my shirts.

While I believe in "to each his own" with the choice of the presence of chest/body hair, I know that I, personally, find mass amounts of body/chest hair absolutely disgusting. A buddy of mine asked me at the beach once "Dude, I'm pretty sure I can tell the answer, but do you shave your chest and pits?!". When I told him that I do, he kind of snickered. I know that seems a little "fruity", but I'm sorry, I don't know how some guys rock the loads of chest hair they have , because personally, I just can't do the "walk around like a fur-bearing mammal thing" either.

I like my moderate amount of chest hair and am hoping it continues to grow in the future.

I have it, and I don't really like it. But it is a ***** to shave all the time so for now it is just going with a little trim every once in a while.

I let it grow in the winter but as soon as temps get to the shirtless running point, I buzz it with no clip. Not only does it sheen better, but I don't have totally ripped up abs, just a little definition, and hair hides what little there is.

I got his same chest hair but blonde and lots of men look at me.

Should I shave it then? Or better to suit up every day?

I find "keep it maintained" applies to all body hair. Nothing is quite as funny looking as a guy with as shaved chest rocking 6 inch armpit hair.

Oh .. and back hair definitely has to go.
