Yeah, I'll agree, as weird as it is that you've thought about it that much, the statement does make perfect sense.

I hope you mean Loveline. If they changed the name after already loosing their funny, I'll have to make it a point to listen to even less radio, just to show my disgust.

Really went downhill the day adam left.

check out:
-Christian Death (with either Rozz or Valor on vox, I prefer Rozz)
-Dead Can Dance
-Bauhaus (duh)
-Death in June
-Einstuerzende Neubauten
-London after Midnite
-45 Grave
-Sisters of Mercy-Fields of the Nephilim
-even mainsteam stuff like Siouxie, The Cure

If you don't like the music, don't bother turning goth

If you were in LA, the place to go is Bar Sinister on sat nite...they have a dress code of all black, and it's def "goth nite" even tho it's not billed as such. LOTS of hot goth-y chicks there.

Did you see Klynt and Vixen on The Amazing Race? The goth couple from Kentucky....they kicked ass, got to the final 4 I think before eliminated. They seemed like a fun couple, and cool people.

I've known a lot of goth kids over the years....most of em are smart as hell. And a hot goth chick is SERIOUSLY hot.

Exactly my thoughts! Check out the box set A LIFE LESS LIVED, its phenominal. Esp the band SOUTHERN DEATH CULT one of my favorite bands

Founding member and only vocalist of the group. I haven't followed them much recently, but they are trying an interesting direct sales approach to their fans. The recording sessions are streamed to fans who can provide feedback.

Nick Cave's original band The Birthday Party had some very gothic songs.

Or maybe they just like to wear black, listen to Skinny Puppy, and are completely normal?

I thought if they weren't abused, they were posers. I'll be in LA soon, should have an SF meetup in a goth club. We'll name the meet "Sartorial Betrayal!"
