And I know you asked for backpacks but for those of you who haven't seen the Michael Linnell's Mailroom Supplies collaborations with Oshman's Sporting Goods (Japan) or with Beams, those are worth checking out. Something different from Manhattan Portage at least, not that I have any problem with those, maybe ubiquity speaks something about their quality.

Hey thanks!

Do you have any links for the bags you've mentioned? I just found some strange shop for some, well, mailroom supplies. But I think that not what you mean (http://www.michaellinnell.co.uk/).

Thank you all!

I have to choose now.

The Chrome Bags look good too and it seems they are really good quality. But the one for laptops looks a bit like a satchel, I think.

North Face seems to be reallly good in quality. But I find the fat logo an all of them ugly.

Jansport looks nice without the logo (you can remove it easily compared to the north face logo), but are not that good in quality.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
