You gotta give the show one more chance. Second episode already won me over. Much funnier than the first, with the characters being more interesting. The beginning was hilarious. One thing is, with all the dude butts they´re showing, they could at least throw in a decent looking girl naked. Anyway, big improvement from episode 1.
Another good part was the main girl talking about **** date on a job interview
PS. would you hit virgo girl? I totally would.

Fa sho. Not that it matters, but that's actually David Mamet's daughter. I recognized her from a few eps of Parenthood.

the review was almost as obnoxious as the show. for real though, this is way better written than how to make it in america. and the homogeny is one of the more realistic things about the show; that's how most people's circles are, not some bullshit insurance commercial where a dinner party features a white couple, asians, black, native americans and paraplegics

Maybe not full-on Benetton but NYC circles of that nature usually have say a Swedish chick and a mulatto dude into intelligent hiphop (and art-chicks with glasses) or whatever among the UES Jews and former-hicks from redneckville now proudly new yorkers and annoying everyone with their pathetic attempts at NYCer cred.

OTC, it actually isn't that all that lengthy or overtly stimulating but the whole build-up to the culmination was well-executed. It was in last night's episode "All Adventurous Women Do".

I'm not sure if it's intended but this show is a pretty poignant portrayal of how self-indulgent and entitled my generation really is. I'm enjoying it.

3rd ep was much better than the first two. I don't know if they consciously toned down the "hateability" of the characters (are all the eps already filmed, or do they keep doing them as they go?), but I actually enjoyed this ep. I'm hoping roommate girl doesn't **** that short, obnoxious artist dude (one of the guys from The Lonely Island, I think) because he's a ******* douche, but she probably will.
