What do y'all think of speedhooks on the wigmore? I hate wearing boots because they're a pain ********** to take off because even after I untie the laces the laces still keep my instep in place.
That said, I like the design of dress boots - I just find them a massive pain ********** to take on and off. I'd imagine speed hooks would help this problem - the problem is would I be ruining the design of the boot?
I can't speak for other but speed hook is a must for me 3 of them are fine. I had Enzo b boot with no speed hook they were super pain in ass. I ended up selling them I just got Canterbury mto with a speed hook look elegant to me.

Do single mto with one or two tops three speed hook problem solved. Your pants will cover them my EG Shannon have them, my Canterbury have them and wingmore will have them also. It's personal choice as far as dressness goes check my IG for pic & it will speak for itself.
imo i think for a dressier boot no speedhooks is the way to go and it spoils the look of the dress boots by having speed hooks.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts - I agree particularly with lace ups without speed hooks being a pain ********** - I have lace up boots without speed hooks & I rarely wear them because I don't have time to unlace the darn things and relace to put them on. Is 4 speedhooks too much? Also, I think someone alluded to it - is there a danger of speed hooks getting caught on the trousers? I have some expensive flannel trousers I don't want to ruin with speed hooks.
