Ok, here is the deal, folks.

The first pair is an MTO I have been working on with Nick for a little bit, and once again he came through like only he does. I went with the St. James II in Polo Suede, on the 73 last. Made it personal with a medallion on the toe and green leather lining. There were many questions back and forth, but Nick put up with me all the way through, with nary a complaint, and the end result was nothing short glorious.

Pair #2 was very serendipitous for me. They are the Uppingham, also on the 73, in Vintage Rioja Calf. These shoes are the very first GGs I fell in love with, about 2 years ago or so. I saw them on the BE site and have wanted them from that first glance. I never picked them up because there were other needs in my shoe rotation that were more pressing, but as soon as these went on sale, I really had no choice in the matter.

I cant thank Nick enough for his exemplary service, and I would HIGHLY recommend anyone who is looking for GGs, to make Nick your first stop, and hopefully, your only stop.

thanks, but unless i am mistaken, the st. james ii are oxfords, and the uppinghams are derbys.
