As much as it pains me to do this, I am putting my G&G Thorpe (AKA RLPL "Garnell") boots for sale. The fit is not working for me, but if they don't sell here, I'll likely just keep them.
These are Gaziano & Girling boots. They are made for Ralph Lauren Purple Label (RLPL model is "Garnell). They are basically the G&G Thorpe with speed hooks. Color is Vintage Oak (I believe). IMO they are dark brown in color. Nice burnishing. Split toe (hand sewn I presume). MH71 Last. Size is 8/8.5D. The width seems "regular" to me.
I purchased these brand new a couple of weeks ago and literally wore them twice (and not a lot of walking; probably less than 1/2 a mile). It was raining in ATL, so the outsoles look like they have more wear than they really do. Retail on G&G boots is now upwards of $1500, so this should be a good deal for someone. Sadly, the fit isn't working for me.
My price is $725 plus actual shipping anywhere you want. Sale will include shoes, box, and bags. Please PM with questions.
