Upper Crust gets my vote for toning it down, as did Spoo - both stayed true to their overall style, but were subdued. Props to both.

And to Harvey for the video

I voted Acrid Sheep. I feel he raised the bar highest when compared with his own previous looks.
Interesting number of POW checks too....

I agree. Crusty needs more props for use of his critiques.

Mike, you see that vote count?

I've got a Disney victory here; I can feel it.

For people that say this one is about showing something above and beyond what you'd normally do... what do you do about people that already feel they're there? I haven't really changed much in what I wear because I'm fairly comfortable in my zone and feel no change is needed (at least about MC wear).

Ultimately, the organizing principle of this challenge seemed a bit amorphous. While some were trying to take it to next level within their own wheelhouse, others seemed to shoot for looks which would be popular but still reflected their typical style, and still others just made sure to have a nice fit for the day.

In the end I just voted for fits that I liked. In retrospect, I should have voted for Upr, too. Sorry. Spoo, the purple chalkstripes didn't really read in the photo, so it came off more as conservative business dress than SBD (Spoo Business Dress).

Thank you, gentlemen. As much as it was bruising to my ego to hear some of the criticisms of my fits when I first started posting, it's been a beneficial learning experience, and has sharpened my senses in these matters. As much as I like the adulation that I get at That Other Website (and, sadly enough, WAYWT over there now mainly consists of me and kitonbrioni - not a visually stimulating diet), it's not useful as a learning experience, whereas posting over here has been (as much as I don't always drink the stylistic Kool-Aid, and reserve the right to revert to my worst impulses on occasion
