I effing hate it when goofballs ask me where I am from.
"Washington, DC."
"No, where are you from?"
"Mother effer! WASHINGTON, DC."
It's hard living in the U.S.
(And no, I dont have an accent).

See, I get: "Where are you originally from?" or even "Where are your parents from?"

ergo
"What kind of nonwhite person are you?"

^ Except that the comp is not between individuals, but teams.

Quite frankly I'm going to have a lot of trouble voting for one team vs. the other. So many good fits on both sides. How do you quantify that?

I think the best idea would be to set up the voting so that you can only cast one vote, for one individual. Then either add up the total votes per team (probably the fairest), or declare the winner to be the team whose member got the most votes.

Do the standard multiple vote thing, and average all the votes per side, since total votes doesn't account for different numbers of entries. So US might have 12 entries, each drawing an average of 5.3 votes, while the Foreigners might have 15 entries with an average rating of 4.9. That way, we get an individual winner to pick next week's challenge and a team winner.

That's funny...I thought it was saying "We kicked your ass in two wars and saved your ass in two others." :satisfied:

You know Canta is American, right? Kai has posted many good fits, but the knot is wonky, the collar points are too short, and the pants are puddling at his ankles.

His handle said London, but I would hope that the ever-trusty :satisfied: would indicate that as I knew he meant no harm by his remark, I hoped mine might be taken in good humor as well.

oh, apparently you can only have one poll in a thread. so its just vote for the team here. maybe whichever team wins can decide how to pick a winner. maybe a flash poll for a day or something. whatever, we can deal with that later.

FOR NOW ITS JUST USA VS. ALL YA'LL OTHER DOODS!!!!

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
