Basil from my piddling herb garden. Also I'm throwing in some rosemary today, just to see how it turns out.

About 5-8 minutes at 450, then in the broiler for 2-3 minutes to brown it HARD. I put the basil on after it comes out. I like it when it wilts just a little from the heat. I drizzled some olive oil on it today, but that's not necessary.

This looks fantastic

Of all places, I've found the pizzeria in the Vatican City Museum has the best pizza I've ever had. Italian pizza in general though. I've not, admittedly, been to naples yet.

At some Pizza Huts, you can order BBQ beef pizza, even though it doesn't appear on their menu. I like that on pan crust.

Ian's Pizza in Madison, WI and now apparently Chicago also. http://www.ianspizza.com/ It's very nontraditional and has pizzas like Mac & Cheese, Steak and Fries, BBQ Chicken Bacon, etc. I miss it. I haven't had a single decent slice of pizza of any variety since I moved to Minneapolis.

Cafe Lago - U-Dist.

Zagi's - Ballard

Fremont Classic - Wallingford

Atlantic Street Pizza - U-District

Pagliacci - Broadway

(I keep meaning to try Piecora's which is next to Chop Suey on Madison, but never hang out there much anymore)

Piecora's is good and Pagliacci is consistent for New York style. For Deep dish Atlantic Street is amazing.

For the Atlantic Street fans, Atlantic Street recently opened a location on 2nd and Madison just 2 blocks from our store.

Orange County, anyone? The only good pizza place I've found here is Al's in Costa Mesa. That's it. Of the 30 or so I've tried in Irvine, Santa Ana, Costa Mesa, Brea, etc., it's been the only one that's been halfway decent.

Someone please open my eyes. The OC ain't NoCal, but there has to be one other good pizza joint over here.

i'm cursed for living in korea. pizza's here are really expensive - even from the likes of the commercial places like Dominos, Papa Jons, Pizza Hut, etc.
