Fargo on FX

Watched the first episode on FX and I gotta say it was pretty damn good. I was sold when i realized Billy Bob Thorton is playing himself.... an asshole. And of course I like Martin Freeman so I gave it a shot.

Any thoughts... discuss...

I saw the first and will record this season. If the next episodes are anywhere near as good, it will be a great season.

I think they said that each season would be a stand alone, so if it comes back, it will be with a new story and a new cast. FX's version of True Detective, I guess.

Got it recording and will probably refrain from watching it until they announce a new season. I've invested too much time into failed series lately.

I'm liking the series. There are some annoyances - BBT (Billy Bob Thorton) - he seems a little forced in his character. He's pretty laid back though, maybe his lines are just a little off or feel a little dry. Overall this, it's pretty good. Love Saul Goodman in this too and hoping he'll be on much more - getting a little paycheck before his new show comes out I guess.

How are you guys liking this show? I'm enjoying. Billy Bob Thornton has the part of the sociopath down pat.
