How does one go about choosing a hat/scarf/gloves anyway? Just neutral colors? Should they match each other/your coat?

Did you get the one that was twisted at the end and had different shades of grey and textures? I got that. Love it. I have to admit it smelled funky when it arrived, maybe from the dyes.

Not sure this is gonna fit the aesthetic people are looking for, but...

Anyone a fan of military issue scarves you find at the surplus store? I bought one for $1 during a camping trip and its the only scarf I wear and use now. Might be considered ugly to some (or most) but I actually like it a lot.

Doesn't get super, super cold wear I live so gloves are more for chilly mornings or travel. Picked up some nice leather Timberland gloves.

Hats... I'm a huge fan of hats, but my favorite cap has to be my Samurai hunting cap and the Buzz Rickson watch cap. I also have a few Brixton caps as well.

This post was so self-serving and useless I'm still trying to wrap my head around it Can you make some recommendations on scarves for an SF-noob look?

Visible Pick Stitching on Lapels and Pockets

  • It’s a mark of quality and craftsmanship

  • I like it when it’s subtle

  • I don’t like visible stitching

  • Doesn’t matter to me
