100% Fake. The bias should be 11-5 unless it's a woven or scarf tie. That tag is also wrong for the twill ties.

When buying online also look for pictures showing the lining (matching the background) and the small loop of thread that all hermes ties have.

Thanks. That's what I figured, but I'm still learning so I needed to hear some confirmation. Sucks that someone bid a hundred bucks on it!

this guy is selling brioni new black suits -- or is he????

do u just have to assume it is?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-BRIONI-...885527?pt=US_CSA_MC_Suits&hash=item232fdd4497

thanks for ur help!

Without a fabric tag it's hard to tell. But, the label looks very sloppy, and I'm not sure I've ever seen a Brioni tag that isn't hand-stitched on in a cross pattern around the entire perimeter. Also, the buttons look very cheap, especially with the Brioni engraving which I've never seen. That probably means they're plastic.

My educated guess is they're fake.

Authenticity check
Apologies if this is not the right section, but saw this http://www.ebay.com/sch/italmoda/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=25&_trksid=p3692 seller on ebay selling multiple items of the same brands. Usually this is a red flag, especially since he only started selling since a few months ago. Wanted to bid on some stuff in the past but was kind of reluctant, so was wondering if anyone can spot if his items are fake or not.

Thanks

Sorry, didn't realize, as I said it's my first time posting. I searched but saw a bunch of other threads similar to mine posted in the same vein. If it's against forum rules to start a new one like this now I'm sure a mod can move it to that thread. No need to be a muppet while thinking you're being clever.
