Hey guys!

Thanks for all of the feedback so far. We're really excited to work with Massdrop and @brillopad on this project. Couple of things from us:

1) Here's images of the White Calf / Grey Suede Sport Trainer. This classic colorway will be offered alongside the top choice of these four mockups.

2. Alabaster is a gorgeous, slightly off-white color! Here's a real-life photo of it...

And a mockup of how that would look with the forest green accents...

3. For an idea of the Grey Calfskin / Navy suede model, check this out. Bit a quick and dirty mockup, so please excuse the rough edges.

damn that grey and navy is beautiful!!! i want one! why not make it as well?

the white calfskin alabaster is one of my most favourite. i wear them at least 4x a week!

^ I think that you can be the first!

i have been thinking about doing this to mine. my wife is an abstract artist and I've been staring at all her paint.
the white alabaster i have is the perfect candidate! might just do it in a couple of months

That might be fun, especially after they get a little rough and funky.

Or, depending on how much dye the leather can soak up: indigo.

If you're a club goer / EDC / burner, I'd probably use fluorescent paint on the panels.

Nice color ways, guys. I think the current shape is one of the best sneakers around.

@t3hg0suazn
it's actually an off-white eggshell color, but I can talk to the dudes at Massdrop. Nothing stopping us from offering that as a 3rd colorway in theory.

Mike -- yeah, if you can make the all alabaster as a 3rd colorway, I'll be in. I have your alabaster tennis trainers and they're my favorite sneakers.

Thanks.

Genuinely curious, what's the allure of these sports trainers? I'm guessing one either likes the design or not, either to one's stylistic taste or not, but I'm wondering if there's something else that makes people go crazy about them. Is it the gumsole? Are they super comfortable? Is it seen as a really versatile shoe?

Personally, I like them for their zero branding, gum sole and classic, retro shape. You also have modern, influential designers like Margiela pushing copies of them out there at $600+ so the fashionista set wears them as a sign of being "in the know".
