@Epaulet Just got the flannel slate blue trousers. They look awesome! However, there is one issue. It appears there is a defect. Check out the images below. Is this something that a tailor can address? I would hate to return the trousers, as I doubt there are any to replace it.

Just a seam repair. Quick fix by even the most mediocre tailor. They may not even charge you for it if you are a good customer. Local dry cleaner can also take care of that.

Apologies for that @greenhouse and bry2000 is totally correct.. it's super easy to fix. It's a common thing that happens in production and should be caught at the last finishing stage, but Hertling must have missed it with everything going on there. Quick and cheap.. if not free.. fix for that.

Also, so I'm not beating everyone over the head with Pumice Sashiko stuff for the next week, I just made a thread on Classic Menswear about it. Feel free to ask me any questions there if you haven't placed a preorder but you want to before the Thurs 4/19 deadline.

Is a round of the unfinished horsehide sneakers coming soon? I don't want to be caught off guard because of the sashikos haha. I'm considering buying both since I cant decide which color.

@Melomane yes, we actually get two brand new samples on Monday-Tuesday which are guaranteed to blow your freaking mind. They'll be all new shapes that you can order in Unfinished.. alongside the Tennis/Sport/Full Court/etc.

I'll probably do the preorder in about two weeks, as I need to wear one sample aggressively and tan it in the sunshine so that we can show some aging in a tight time frame.

I want the job of wearing shoes aggressively.

Sorry bruh, it's taken by this guy. Wait until you see all of my unfinished horsehide parkour and stage diving and long-distance running. You've never seen such aggressive wearing.

Look bruh, you can’t stop me. I’m creating an aggressive shoe wearing department in my company (I may just start a new company 100% dedicated to aggressive shoe wearing) and I’m naming myself as department chair. Day 1: aggressive beach volleyball tournament wearing shoes and no socks. Day 2: hacky sack with spiked metal balls. Day 3: moped riding foot dragging. Day 4: Poolside sun bathing (for the UVs, bruh)...

Sweet! Any of the additional styles wide width friendly?

I've had a few different pairs of similar plain toe boots and I always had a hard time wearing them too. They seemed like they wanted to be a little more refined than they really wear. I'd put them on and miss the stitching that you'd see on something like an Indy boot or a captoe or something like Rancourt's Baxter Boot.

I usually ended up sticking with various chinos for my plain toe boots. They didn't look right with most of my wool Epaulet trousers; I'd try them with tweeds or corduroy but it just didn't look right to me. Of course that's a personal choice and it may be something that I don't like but you do.

If it's the color of green that you are concerned about, I think Viberg's green shell is pretty unique and it has (to me) a distinct blue tint. I think it would look good with just about any shade of blue denim and should also work pretty well with chinos in browns and khaki. Something in slate grey or gunmetal grey might look really good with it too.

You convinced me. Keeping them
