Hey guys,

This past week we launched a preorder for our "EZ Pant." This is a casual chino with a single pleat, a generous fit in the thigh, and a comfortable higher rise. It was one of our most popular shapes a few years back, and we're really excited to re-introduce it. Orders are open until Tuesday 5/3.

We have seven fabrics to choose from, and you can order into any waist size from 28 to 40. The price is $115 for cotton and ripstop, and $135 for a seriously awesome deadstock Air Force wool (more on that later). Each piece is made in Los Angeles from start to finish and your order will ship in about 4-6 weeks.

The EZ Pant can be worn biz-caz or totally casual. It's a really versatile style, and I'm happy to offer it as a competitive price for Made in USA. Here's the shape and overall fit...

The first batch of fabrics is 6.5oz Lightweight Whisper Twill...

Woven in the USA by Mount Vernon, this 100% cotton twill is just a touch lighter than the typical 8oz four-season weight. It's comfortable in warmer weather, but wearable well into the middle of Fall.

Next is a military-spec cotton ripstop...

We have two colors of 100% ripstop cloth with pure nylon crosshatching. These military spec fabrics are woven in the USA by MMI Textiles and provide an unrivaled combination of lightweight wear and strength.

And last is this incredible thing!!

Airforce Blue 10.5oz Wool Blend
This is an absolutely incredible deadstock find! This cloth was milled nearly 25 years ago for US Airforce uniforms. It's a military-spec blend of 55% Dacron (polyester) and 45% wool. It's comfortable, washable, mothproof, and unbelievably strong. And it's a bonafide piece of USA textile history.

Here’s a quick photo of some well worn and well used pair EZ pants maybe 7-8 years old. They’ve been my ‘go to pant’ for awhile now. The thing I like about them most is that they’re nice and roomy in the seat and thigh without looking too baggy. The leg still tapers to the the bottom opening without being too wide as well.

When you preorder, you'll save 25% off the MSRP and get your exact choice of size and fabric. As usual, we'll offer some open stock at delivery, but that will only be in sizes 31 to 36, and most likely just in the sampled fabrics of Spruce Twill and Flat Dark Earth Ripstop.
