This really depends on specific item, some of the overcoats have been cut very generously (at least 1 size larger), some in the past have had strange measurements ( narrow sleeves, tight shoulders)

Don't own the grenadine, but have been satisfied with the ties, generally.

I have one, which I describe as a reddish brown melange. 4-fold construction, knots and dimples well.
