He is just super backlogged as his assistant left last month and then he had a major family emergency. He is one of the most honest, trustworthy people I know. But he's swamped as he's running the whole business by himself at the moment.

Maybe I should work for Marcus. "Will work for Lupos."

Took a shot on the Tenero Navy Hopsack Blazer from Saks. (Final sale)
Amazing jacket but unfortunately it's a bit too small.
Size 42 short if anyone is interested. Paid $550 including tax & shipping. Will be posting to ebay & B&S.

Just got my directing headshots taken this weekend and thought I would share an outtake where I'm wearing my Brown Silk Tenero and a long sleeve lupo!

I'm sure this has been asked before, but my SF google-fu is not up to snuff right now. Is typical recommendation for the tenero to size up (i.e., as a 40, I'd get a 52)? Seems like a 50 based on Marcus' measurements may be a tad slim for me

I wear a size EU50 in the Tipo model (am a slim size US40 and probably a true size US39) and take the same size in Tenero. The size EU52 in Tenero was okay in the shoulders, but had way too much material in the lower chest and waist. YMMV.

Thanks. Now the wait...

I have always been of the opinion that all the models can be worn by the same person in the same size. Tipo/Balthazar were to be the roomiest and most classic TTS. Tenero was supposed to be the more casual canvassed model that was softer and slimmer - 1cm more narrow through the halfwaist and 1cm shorter than the tipo (same length as the balthazar). This was supposed to be a slim TTS. Finally, the NMWA/Ciro was a hybrid: longer like the tipo, slimmer like the tenero but with a slightly wider shoulder and more open quarters.

I know feedback varies dramatically about this as fit is subjective but the plan was always to have one guy be able to wear the same size in each with minor alterations. It's also important to note that "correct fit" has a lot to do with taste in silhouette. If someone liked the slightly more conservative lines of the tipo, they were bound to say the tenero was "too slim" and found it necessary to size up.
