Anyone in NY looking for old Eidos should pull up on Saturday. I’ll have a good amount along with a lot more.

I have two eidos thompson belted shawl collar cardigans that I have grown out of. One navy wool and one gray cotton/cashmere, both size large. Looking for 300 each or 500 for both.
I vouch these are awesome sweaters. Don’t wear mine enough, but don’t want to sell it.

You got pics of the grey? (I have the navy)

PSA, the Italian outlet/overstock retailer Sartoria di lusso has gotten its hands on 600 shirts from Eidos (CIONGOLI ERA, all caps, their words) including lupo polos, which are mostly if not entirely all uploaded now:

They also told me they have something like 200 suits/jackets from the CIONGOLI ERA in Tenero and Ciro cuts coming soon as well.

Looking at the Lupo's they appear not to have the pointed placket. I recall early seasons not having that design feature maybe due to an oversight on the part of the factory, though @NickPollica may know the answer more specifically.

Strongly suggest avoiding lupos with a straight placket. They were produced with a supplier I would not have chosen to work with.

Antonio I know you have moved onto new successful projects but it has to warm your heart a little that nobody wants Eidos you didn't design.
i don’t think anyone outside of this thread wants eidos period.

The tailoring/shirts here are from This is Rome and Faces of Firenze which means it’s original Michelangelo production for tailoring and the shirts were made at Stile Napoli. Both were good (shirts better than tailoring).

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
