FW15 DB Corduroy suit from NMWA. Got it used this past February. The story behind my hunt for this suit...

When this beauty went on sale back in October 2015, I was lukewarm about it, because I liked the jacket but wasn’t sold on a full cord suit. Then it sold out, but no big deal. A few years later, something clicked in my brain, and I realized I wanted it and I had totally missed out. So from there it was keeping an eye out on the B&S, eBay, etc. Then my size came up on eBay in February, and I won! It fit well enough out of the box, just needed the pants hemmed a little shorter.

Imho this suit represents the heyday of Eidos' versatility and success, and it's a bummer when I think of what could have been...

Gotta let this one go. Full details in BST in a few minutes.

Eidos Tipo 3/2 in a beige/grey gunclub with dark brown and green overcheck. Size 50.

I bought it altered but unworn, and can’t make the sleeves work for me because of the functional buttonholes. If you’ve got a longer arm than I do, take this and wear it with joy.

Awesome jacket, but a touch too tight in the chest, waist, and shoulders for me. Just a thought - if you are keen on keeping this, why not take it to an alteration tailor (assuming you know of one) to have the sleeves shortened at the shoulder?

I did take it to my tailor to consult about that possibility, even though I'm categorically against altering jackets at the shoulder. In this case, given the necessary shortening (about 1.75 inches) and the small pattern, I didn't want to risk it, especially for the cost of the alteration.

Di Pray.
Please bring back Eidos. My Eidos Tenero suits are the best OTR suits I've had.
Owned by Isaia and a spectacular commercial failure, so I very much doubt it will ever return.

I know this is the biggest shot in the dark, but If someone has the trousers for this birdseye(?) flannel in a size 50/52 or if @NickPollica knows where to source the fabric, please shot me a DM here. I found the jacket in a consignment store but they never had the trousers.
