Hmmm-- the only lace-ups that were going to work were derbies, but I don't really have a need for a black set. I guess there's a reason that these are on sale.

Do wish I fit into the oxfords better. Those chestnut Chelseas would be perfect on a day like this.

Does anyone know what the EG "Isham" shoe (or boot) is?
Sorry, neither have I ever come across the Isham before. Maybe they have named a shoe after the musician Mark Isham: http://www.isham.com/
Maybe they named it for Lance Isham, recent president and vice-chairman of Polo Ralph Lauren.

Can someone with a degree in Green last-ology tell me what size I would get in various lasts if I wear a 9 / 9 1/2 D in the 89 last and a 9 1/2 / 10 D in the 202 last?  Thanks.

Whatever you wear on the 202 last will apply to any of the other oxfords.

It will be less likely to be right with casuals, slippers and monks. I wear a half size smaller.

The 202 is comfortable for most men. The 888 and 82 lasts may or not be as comfortable. To over-simplify, the 888 has a narrower toe box and the 82 has a lower toe box. I wear all three in the same size, but I wouldn't wear the 888 if I knew I was going to walk three miles that day.

Would getting one of the narrower/less round lasts in a wider width solve this problem?

I've emailed EG a couple times trying to get a list of their 7UK/7.5US shoes that are sale but haven't heard anything for a week now. Anyone else have this information?

I called EG a few days ago and apparently their computer was down so they would not be to respond to any E-mail for now.
