I would have thought the complete opposite. JL continuously comes out with new, never before seen models. Some are nice, some are just complete disasters as evidenced by their "spirit of the capital" collection. In any case, ill probably give EG another try as I consolidate my shoe wardrobe (i.e. quality over quantity)

Those are a pair I sold a few years back. I've never had a pair polish up that nice before or since, they really glowed. I sold them for a song compared to what they go for now.
I have a pair of these too in dark oak. Don't really fit me though so I never wear them.
Does anyone have an idea of what EG calls the Boot they previously produced for RL?
It is a split toe (laced boot) that looks very much like the Dover.
I am wondering whether or not it can be an MTO with Edward Green.
