Very nice! Love these, I have a pair in D Oak … it’s been too long, I need to take them out for a spin when the snow melts here
I love the very subtle line of broguing punched directly into the vamp, it's just a little visual interest but still a very formal business shoe. Would look beautiful in doak!

Personal opinion: I’m not a big fan of their 184 last which I find overly almondy. That being said, I’m a 7E and this last is maybe better adapted to larger sizes. For a black loafer, you have a good number of alternatives, Weston 180, John Lobb Lopez to name a few.
I really like the black grain from E.G. on the 184 as it gives it more versatility, in my opinion, to wear these with smart trousers, chinos or jeans.
The Lobb are stunning though.

First time in the wild. The fit is superb, they are very comfy. Very glad I took the plunge.

Hey guys, what’s the wait time for a top drawer order? And is it better to go through EG, or is there a better stockist?

Thanks!

I don't own any top drawer, but for MTO order I recommend working with a reputable stockist. The stockist will handle it if any issues arise and will take care of you.

Recently got these two for a good price. Almost half off. Unlined Piccadilly. I like the color of the raw umber much better. But for some reason, they fit slightly smaller than the mink suede, even though they are the same size. Maybe mink suede has more give? Or how they were lasted?

Either way, they still fit snug in the toebox area. I can probably force myself to wear these but my feet won’t be comfy.
These are UK 12 and no one carries UK 12.5.

So I’m not sure whether I should return these and custom order a bigger size and pay the full price? Or just hope that they will somehow stretch in the near future.

Also, UK 12.5 in piccadilly. Would that equate to UK 12 in 202 chelsea? Or 606 dover?
Would lined piccadilly be even more tight compared to unlined version requiring another size up?

I wish there’s a shop I can try these in person but nothing remotely close in my area. Plus my huge feet don’t help.

Nice combination; MTO? I have tan shoes and I find the colour difficult to match at times, and hence they are more likely to gather dust.
I think that's exactly my struggle as well. These were done through Skomaker Dagestad when Stefan worked there.
