What are members feelings on the London Grain leathers?

Style? Durability and overall quality?

I usually love grained leathers and London Grain looks gorgeous, but having no direct experience, can't say anything about durability.
Grain styles are more casual than smooth ones and suit particularly well boots and more rugged derbies. Also loafers look great in a grain leather.

I have the Newmarket (Chelsea boots) in London grain and love it. It's incredibly supple and soft and looks amazing in an otherwise plain boot. It doesn't feel as thick and sturdy as the country calf I have in my 72 lasted Galway. For me it's a great choice for casual styles that are not intended for the most rugged uses (Chelsea boots, chukka, etc..).

My experience with London Grain was not as pleasant as other grained leather from Edward Green(utah, country calf). It gives a plastic feel on the surface, feel like a little over burned on top. Maybe when they print, the heat was too much. Just my two cents

Agreed, the value proposition is certainly diminishing. What's the going rate for gomez, lobb, or GG?
Does that include the flight to Asia?

I just received my Shoreditch in London Grain. Doesn't feel plastic to me at all. Just feels like textured leather.
