dude...i surrender...best come back ever!
If you wanna live the sleaze life...you gotta be able to talk the sleaze as well! 😂

....also that is probably one of the most gangsta lines in cinema - coming from Deniro no less.

Jokes aside is it that bad? Did you not like it or just a difference in taste?

In real life, I’m guessing it’s sleazy af fit in the best possible…but the pictures - angle, lighting, vibe - are really bad?

Admittedly the angle and lighting is bad 😂 but as long as the fit is good!

I'm writing this with trepidation because your comeback game is so strong. 😂

The fabric, shapes and silhouettes are really good, but the jackets seem to be too long - at least to me. This throws off the balance.

Someone once teased me for wearing high rise trousers and I replied I needed the extra crotch room... 😂

Yeah i have kinda subscribed to the askokey/80s 90s armani long drapey silhouette. I figured if I didn't like it, it will be easier to shorten.

Also, I do have a really big arse and the length of the jacket currently just extends maybe a inch longer from where my bottom sits...and as you know the old adage...suit jacket must cover arse! I reckon the angle just makes it longer than it actually is.

Even taking into account that sleazy, oversized look you're aiming to, and possibly the photo angle, I would agree with PPK, the jacket looks a bit too long and roomy in my eyes.

It would benefit from some shortening and waist suppression, I think.

Yes. Covering the arse is a good rule. However, I've found that a better one, especially for DB jackets, is the hem of the jacket should end between the first and second thumb joints. I can't tell from your pictures if that's the case because your right hand is folded behind you and the left hand is holding the phone.

If your arms are really short, then it needs to end beyond the second thumb joint.

If you look at the other pictures above you'll find that's usually the case. For some reason that proportion is generally pleasing to the eye.

A bit more waist suppression would also enhance the shape, but not too much so that you keep the Armani style.

You might want to ask the tailor to pin it up a bit and see how it looks.

I love the sleazy look! You've inspired me to make one this year.

Don't mind me I'm in my jammies...

Yes I do have really short arms...hem ends on my thumb ends.

Can't get more waist suppression...I need the extra room for dancing and I'm weight has been fluctuating recently.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
