Don't know if perfumes are up for discussion here but was just wondering the experiences with scents.
Got an Invictus as a gift and I actually like it. It smells typically perfumey, no particular scent but when it gets aired a little it becomes very pleasant and I get lots of nice comments.

I have a few in my rotation depending on the season. I generally like scents that are classic, subtle and elegant. Dislikes are scents that are overpowering and that broadly remind me of a airport Duty Free.
  • Dior Eau Sauvage (not to be confused by the newer Sauvage) is a classic anytime scent that's not too strong. I generally wear this during the day in summer.
  • Arquiste Nanban is a really great scent for winter time especially in the evening.
  • Proraso Wood And Spice is a good one for fall and I've been using that a bit as it's November.
  • I had a sampler of Guerlain Homme L'Eau Boisee that I enjoyed and will look to get a full size bottle in the future.
  • Creed Irish Tweed is a classic and one of the few Creed fragrances that I could justify buying considering its high price. I like this one during trips to the woods or spring.
Some perfume houses who make scents that tend to enjoy are Caron, Guerlain, Floris, and Arquiste.

Fragrance is definitely up for discussion here:

I liked Bulgari Blu (I think it's spelled BLV). But it's difficult as hell to find it, so I gave up, and just starded wearing local brand perfumes instead. :(
