Hampton, you're a good guy and frequent poster so I think you'll be handle to some criticism. I think this vaguely modern, geometric style of cuff links is unattractive and will look very dated in a few decades. The style seemed to develop in the 1990s. It is not a classic design found in the pre-World War II era, the golden age of cuff link design. As a cuff link designer, I feel it necessary to call out bad, trendy design for what it is.

I'll also guess that they're single-sided. I've written before about why double-sided cuff links are the only true cuff links.

There's no doubt that classic cufflinks like these last and last. Always understated, classy - and can subtly suggest pedigree - particularly with ones monogram/Initials engraved!

Now I would say that, wouldn't I?

Kent Wang put up some good info.

There's an article on my thread which may help anyone buying substantial cufflinks:

' Cufflink types explained '

also lots of info on my store site (baseline under 'articles')

Cheers Davo

You guys have any coin cuff links?

I'll try to get a pic tonight, but the only coin links I have are old NYC subway toekens. . .the ones that are about the size of a dime and have the "Y" in NYC cut out. They're toggle back links, obviously not super high quality, but the token is pretty cool.
