I would keep those beauties. Nothing against Alden (I have 2 pairs in my collection), but C&J is a step above, IMO.Disclaimer... I am unsure of keeping these because of my Alden addiction.

As per C&J this leather is very tough for bad weather/snow/rain etc and tougher than country grain.
So I am thinking to do a GMTO of Northcote Boots on 348 last with this leather. Waiting for pricing info from C&J.
I am thinking to use this as a everyday winter boots on a sleek last.
