How did you guys size the Lindrick and Warlow compared to TTS? I went down a full size being E UK last as opposed to D lasted US Marlow. TTS 9.5D hoping I ordered okay in sizing. Some recommend .5 down and some 1 down. I've bought C&J US a half down US retailer in US sizing and they were too tight. Then I am told by C&J they are actually done on a non UK last but a US size. What?? Barney's as well? I had some 341 PTB in shell, they fit well and were marked on the insole 8.5 over 5, not 8.5/4 as were my ill fitting BB Shell Boots from BB. Those were way too narrow. All I want is TTS Lindrick boot and Marlow. Interestingly, I've had several model of RL Marow's in US TTS in 9.5D that had 8.5E UK and 42.5 EU and... Some model marked 9.5 D US an 9UK. Sorry for the diatribe ... Shell from non US conundrum ..

Will C&J have navy shell if none of their stock models use it? Either way, I'm in for a Dundee on anything but burgundy (enough color 8 as it is).

Can't say I'm thrilled with the use of whiskey shell for this purpose...

I think they have in the past, so the chances are good. I'll put you down on the list for now and send an update once I've heard from Lauren.

Heh, yeah, they should have just made some whiskey Harlechs.

There's a navy shell Camberly GMTO in process right now.
And the Cavendish was available as a stock model in navy shell fairly recently.

As others know from my posting on here, I had a bear of a time trying to pin down my size. I tend to be 8.5E or 9E in US sizing. I've tried the RL Marlow in US sizes 8, 8.5, and 9.

8 = too tight and narrow
8.5 = pretty good all around fit, what I hope to emulate with GMTO orders
9 = much too long

I also own a pair of CJ for BB shoes on the 325 in size 8.5 and they fit well, like the 8.5 Marlows.

Based on all this, Lauren recommended sizing down a half size to UK 8E. I had always learned that US = UK + 1, but after much back and forth I ultimately decided on half a size down to 8E. I am really hoping I guessed correctly.

I have a pair of CJ Pembrokes in 8E on the way to confirm the sizing, but I doubt I'd be able to make edits to my order by the time they arrive.

Dundee. Burgundy. 341 last. All eyelets. Danite.
Unforuantely I destroyed my wallet with the last 2 GMTOs this month but I will be putting this make up in my back pocket.

I've been getting too many color 8s with all eyelets, so it would really be good to change up with navy and some hooks. I'm writing to Lauren tomorrow -- do you want to be on the list? (As an interested party, no more)

I am also interested in a navy shoe/boot. I can't swing it right now (surprise vacation to FL) but you can mark me as interested and I'll see how things progress.

I don't suppose people would be interested in a Victoria or Ridgeway sole instead of Dainite? Not quite commando but a bit more foul-weather appropriate.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
