@otc, I'm guessing it's a poly foam rather than latex. Strange that they don't say what it's made of though. Matt got his and recommended we get ours for European Sleepworks, the model with no springs at all. It's very heavy but also very durable. Supposed to require wooden slats instead of a boxspring. They sell a thick removable and washable cover. Current prices are much higher than they were. At the time, ES was about the cheapest source of pure latex mattresses (no poly foam or springs). But now there are lots of companies that sell for less. Not sure about the quality though.

@Ds13, have you looked on Craigslist or a local vintage store for a vintage midcent mod dresser? They seem to be pretty common. Z Brothers in NJ has a lot of stock (some not online) and they ship to anywhere.

Ah, supposedly the top layer is something designed as a latex alternative to have similar properties but be more durable. So far I am pretty satisfied...and having the UPS guy show up with the mattress in a reasonable sized box is certainly a nice piece of convenience.

don't do "em cee em"
and don't shop at cee bee two.
real modern is real.
I'm open to suggestions... I've been casually looking for months and would love to have a place for my sweaters now that it's fall.

@emptym That was my first choice as well. I've been looking for quite a while and nothing seems to hit those dimensions. Either too tall or too long. A bit frustrating.

awkward corner space--
do we add a chair or bench,
or embrace the void?

if you must do it,
real em cee em is better.
buy something vintage.

but even better,
rethink whether a dresser
is needed at all.

build out your closet,
or add some new shelves (vitsoe?).
avoid furniture.

Haha, this thread....

Depends if you have a walk-in closet or not. If you do, build it out, if you do not then you need a cabinet. In my case we have walk-in closets but too much stuff so I built my wife a credenza and replaced the nightstands with tables.

Overall the room does not feel crowded as not everything is a storage piece. I rather have less stuff to store than to store more stuff but my wife doesn't agree. :)
