At the risk of outing myself as a tasteless small timer, I’m sharing a picture of the newly arrived outdoor sofa on the recently completed deck. (The teal is our neighbor’s house)

This is the nicest thing I've seen all year on this threak. Not saying much, but its something when I don't viciously attack a member's taste. What's the make? Also, are you saying the sofa is up against a neighbor's house? Why not just pretend it's your house? So many questions here.

Clearly he doesn't want us to judge him for liking teal.

Teal will be back, though. Mark my words. The 90s are already coming back! Hunter green is already coming back!

It's Blu Dot, and, strictly speaking, it's up against the fire-rated wall we had to build in order to comply with the building code. Because everyone knows that fire can't go higher than 42"...

I note that the teal wall is our neighbor's house to clarify that I wouldn't choose to put those two colors together on my own house. We considered whether to choose a color which went better with the teal, but that house just sold and we're reasonably certain the new neighbors will paint the house in the near future.

Don't know if this is necessarily the right place, but do any of y'all know of sources for linen quilts/duvets/blankets/throw in a patchwork sort of makeup? I have a few brands I really like, but just about all come in plain or uniform patterns. Would like to have options that throw a different sort of visual into the mix.

Our neutral interior needed a bit of color so we selected this early 1900's Navajo weaving. The faded "brick" red color and orange compliment the beiges and browns in our home. The chevrons give visual movement to attract the eye. A work-in-progress, we are waiting for the arrival of the french cleat to hang it on the wall above the side table.
