To help me work on life skills, I'd actually like to get a side job cold calling. Where is the best place to look?

Try working for a campaign. It's almost all you do... until you get volunteers and 'interns' to do it for you.

Why on earth would you cold call for only $12 an hour? If you have the slightest modicum of writing skill go write for Demand Studios. Sure, it's a content mill and is far from glorious, but if I'm dicking around and watching a Red Sox game, eating pizza, and talking on the phone while I'm working, I make $30 an hour. If I actually focus and do nothing but work, I bang out 3 how-to articles an hour, which equates to $60 an hour.

You could never do it for a full 8 hour workday as you'd go ******* insane (I do it as a side gig for spending money since I'm still a student), but you could easily make more than you do now in just a few hours a day - from the comfort of your living room couch. Don't fall into the "research like crazy" trap though - I see a lot of newer writers spend 3 hours researching a 300 word article and complaining that they can't make ends meet.

Step 1: Write under a pseudonym so your real name doesn't get associated with these "McArticles" (unless you don't give a ****).
Step 2: Choose one of 330,000 available topic titles.
Step 3: Plug title into Google. If you can't find a good resource on the first page in 20 seconds, choose another title.
Step 4: Spend 15 minutes vomiting 300 words into their pre-ordained format, click submit.

$60 an hour guaranteed once you get used to the format.
