Is it just me or is anyone else out there disturbed by the growing number of men out there who look as though they are wearing a shirt two sizes too big. I don't know what the problem is weither or not they don't know their size or if it is some sort of new fashion statement but it needs to change. Their sleeves are rolled up as if they are too long for their arms aand it looks to me sometimes I could fit my fist between their neck and collar with room to spare. Which isn't a problem except for when they button it up with a tie, I have started seeing this happen with a lot of the newer guys at the office. I haven't made a big deal out of it yet, but I can't continue to let them maintain a unprofessional look day after day. What are your guys thoughs on the issue?

i think it'd be weird if you were on SF for a while and NOT notice these things.

btw, this topic comes up at least once a month. general concensus is as you'd expect.

What are you suppose to do? I actually think it's acceptable. As long as it's not me. It's what separates the boys from the men. I'm sure there is an elitist feeling behind it.

Sorta like when someone with a BMW rolls up aside my Toyota Camry, I feel inferior.

On the flip side of that, isn't there quite a substantial number of men, this forum included, that wear their clothes entirely too tight? Specifically, their jeans.

Tight is relative.

Look back in the 80's, they wore them "tight" too.

Or even in the 50's, "tight" too. "Tightness" comes and goes with the times.

But, people too wear clothes way too big. I personally don't care, I mean yes it bugs me, but it makes you stand out so much more when you wear well fitted clothes.
