It's not for impressing dudes, it's for having fun behind the wheel and racing autocross.

I love the fact that they have barely touched the body in 30 years. If only I could buy a Range Rover Classic with all new fittings like they do with the D90s they still sell in the UK. Don't get me wrong I love sports cars, but I live in colorado I ski, I mountain bike, rock climb so I have a thing for cars that can romp. Ive only ever owned range rovers. This was my and my second baby,1995 classic SWB she was my favorite. may she RIP.

That S1 RR is beautiful. I see a bunch of really nice condition ones in Tokyo still. G-wagens are like a scourge here almost though, one or more on every block, black G500's or G55's.

I'm guessing you're mechanically inclined but, in your experience, how often do those guys break down? excluding bouldering etc...

some things have changed and I need to purchase a car sort of soon and it doesn't look like I'll be getting much help. anyone have any experience with repairs/maintenance on a 7 series? particularly an 08-10 one. will have around 20-30k miles on it (since most of you are US, I did the conversion). anything I should know prior to getting into one?

From all the signals this post is sending out you should consider a Honda Accord.
