The couple of GT3 reviews I’ve seen are very complimentary, but they kinda confuse me. Apparently the .2 is incremental improvement from the .1, but not in the direction of making it closer to the RS nor the ST. So, what direction is that, then?Looks like Toyota lifted their media blackout on the new 4Runner yesterday or day before as a bunch of 4Runner review videos dropped.
Porsche lifted media blackout on their GT3 and GT3 Touring today as now my Youtube feed is filled with 992.2 GT3/GT3 Touring videos.

I noticed that as well. From Henry Catchpole's video I gathered that they softened up the damping (at least on the Touring version) so it's more comfortable on road than the 992.1 and more ST-like. However unlike the ST, they skipped the lightweight flywheel so the clutch is more user friendly (less racecar-like) and doesn't have the chatter. If you add the $40K Lightweight package and PCCB's, it's getting pretty close to the ST in terms of weight savings and price. The couple of GT3 reviews I’ve seen are very complimentary, but they kinda confuse me. Sounds like auto start/stop which come standard on almost all cars. Normally there’s a button to turn it off.Drove a Cayenne today--engine kept stopping and turning on at every stop light. I'm guessing it's a hybrid of sorts. Didn't get a good look. Don't get it, not impressed. Porsche? Boss asked me to drive though since he feels some jet lag.
JFC. Doug is shilling for crypto. :/
I watched a couple more reviews and i get it better now. I agree with all the above, plus the GT3 has rear wheel steering that the ST doesn’t have. All this is to say that the people saying that the GT3 is not trying to be like the ST are the dumbs - that is exactly what the GT3 touring is trying to be.I noticed that as well. Touring was after 911R after Porsche saw what happened with that car. Not sure if RAS is optional on the new Touring.Didn't the Touring package start after the release of the 911R? Also, is RAS optional so it could be even more like an ST?
