That's good. afaik, BMW's residuals are fixed, but on the MF, look out for 'adders' or basically anything that makes it go above the base MF you see published on the forums. It might be a trivial amount or a non trivial amount.

^ I think that's a good deal from MSRP. I kinda like the Mercedes GLx more in that segment, but if you like the X1, go for it.

what's sad is, i know you are serious.

before you do anything, test drive a Subaru STI. performance and space. and in the price range, for a dude who is actually buying a car, and not leasing. it is better than a ML, and light years ahead of an X-1. test drive, then say what you think of it.

He should go with the Subaru STi instead. Far superior to the P1, as all Japanese cars are

The STi is great and all...but I've gotten a few of them as ubers and riding in the back of them is neither comfortable nor impressive.

We're talking about a car for my wife, gentlemen. Unless she wants to drag race vs my 2010 maxima and win, I don't think STI is the way to go here.

Yeah not too sure about the sti rec, but if I may, I'll toss one extra contender into the ring -- the koenigsegg one:1 should suit your needs just fine.

well,if you are going German. get something above the base model. if you can. base model Germans are just too slow. even for daily driving.
